Eagle Point Beach and Dive Resort in Batangas owned a part of Maricaban Island called Sepoc Beach Center. A famous shoreline located on the western tip of nearby Maricaban Island, which is about 15-20 minutes boat ride from Eagle Point Resort. Sepoc is actually a narrow peninsula where it would only take 5 minutes to walk across at its shortest width. On the south side, facing the distant but yet prominent Mindoro Island, is a beautiful stretch of white sand beach. It is nestled between a massive rock outcrop known as Sepoc Point, a famous scuba diving spot and a hill that goes up about a hundred or so feet above sea level. A popular Anilao diving site is also located here and popularly known as Sepoc Wall diving site. This Anilao diving site has shallow water teems with a profusion of small reef fish, while the wall has bigger reef fish, Barrel Sponges, gorgonian sea fans, a multitude of different species of nudibranchs, sea cucumbers and pelagic visitors.
We stayed at Eagle Point and Dive Resort for 3 days and 2 nights together with my hubby, my brother and his family. We got a room package promo in their website at www.eaglepointresort.com.ph during that time. On our 2nd day we chartered a boat from the resort lobby round trip is Php 2,464.00 for a maximum of 8 passenger. We ordered our packed lunch at Eagle Point Restaurant and the bangkero brought that in Sepoc Island and from there a caretaker is in-charged to cooked and served it to us, just tell them ahead of time on what time your lunch is to be served.
Since our visit was timely on weekday which Monday we have the whole Sepoc Island to ourselves, imagining that white beach is all yours to explored, swim, and the wind kisses your skin. And let the glowing sunshine touched your face is quite amazing. But of coarse don't forget to put on sun screen because at noon time the sun was blazing hot.
Oh Yeah, me and my husband explored Sepoc Island on foot in less than an hour. We even lay there in the sand facing Sombrero Island and watch some motor boat passes us by.
As you can see the water is so crystal clear, I rented my life vest and snorkeling gear at their facilities in Eagle Point for Php 300.00/day that's why i fully enjoyed the view under the sea with different kinds of nemo's and species that you can see.
