TRAVELS of The Chinita Lakwatsera: September 2017

As my friend Midora says...We take photos as a Return Ticket to a Memory otherwise gone.---Thank You Batangas!!! It was a spun at the moment trip as it was a birthday celebration of my friend's son and we promised him when we are in La Union that were going to swim not in beach but in a pool this time on his birthday. Kaya I organized our Day Tour with research and reading of some other blogger about Batangas and what's stored in it. But this time it's just a short trip a Day Tour only, so we make it sure that were going to maximize our time (Sulitin ang maghapon). So our first agenda on our itinerary is .....

1) The Abandoned Fantasy World

The Abandoned Fantasy World was supposed to be a Theme Park but the management decided to halts its construction and operation when the company's head fell ill.

To gain access to the unfinished Medieval-Themed Attraction and supposed to be The Disneyland in the Philippines, you have to pay the Entrance fee of P1,000.00 whether a maximum of 10 pax or 2pax the minimum amount to be pay is P1,000.00 excess of 10 pax will be charge P100.00 per head. Luckily for us we are 8pax but when we are at the guard house to make inquiry there's a 2 person outside too waiting for the 8:00am opening and they asked us if they could joined us to make it 10pax. And so we agree because they will Pay P1000.00 (minimum amount) divided 2 so a P500.00 charged per head for them just to enter the themed park which is not so worth it. Because the themed park was not operational it's good for Photo OPs or Instagram only.

The place is so Huge, i felt sad that the management didn't continue the construction, the stairs going up the tower was already rusty and i don't know why the stairs is wet and it's so dim, so be extra careful, watch your step and hold on to the handle bar.

I suggest that while you have time come and visit the place because the paint color will be faded and worn out soon. And it will be better if you come from Tagaytay or in Sta Rosa Calamba if coming from Manila than in Lipa Batangas Exit because from Tagaytay Rotonda take the Talisay Road, we used waze and we ended up touring the whole Talisay hahaha a total waste of time but we left Manila (in private car) at around 4:30am and we reach Fantasy World at 7:00am so we waited for the themed park to open at 8:00am and closes at 7:30pm.

2) Richbee Honey Store in Leviste Highway Balete Batangas

Got these for P250.00 it's along the highway going to Balete Batangas, the honey was good and yummy.

3). Marian Ochard

The Marian Orchard is a pilgrimage site found in Brgy. Malabanan, Balete, Batangas set amidst sprawling land reminiscent of European gardens.

It can easily located because it's along the highway after the Richbee Store just continue driving straight ahead. Entrance fee is P50.00 per head open at 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Feed your human spirit and visit the place.

4). The Shercon Resort and Ecology Park

Our last Stop and as we promised is a swim in a pool to our birthday boy Reine. Shercon Resort and Ecology Park is located in Mataas na Kahoy, Batangas. Entrance fee for our Day Tour is P250.00 per head. We Rented our cottage for P800.00 for more details you can see there website www.sherconresort.net

A total of 16 swimming pools to swim i bet hingal kalabaw ka na if you could swim all their sixteen pools. The place is so huge, there's also a Hanging Bridge, a big chess table and a Maze. When we arrive at past 12 noon we saw some people perhaps they did their company team building there because it seem they having a race. Also they have shuttle service to roam around the resort or to bring you from point to point pool that you want to swim.

The staff was all around the places in uniform so you could asked them for help or if you want to buy ice cubes, used their grills or to asked where to go in their resort. We bring our cooked baon for lunch. If you want to stay for a night see their website for their overnight charges and fees.
