HONG KONG AND MACAU

Hong Kong, is an autonomous territory and former British colony, in South Eastern China.  It's vibrant, densely populated urban centre.  It is also a major shopping destination, famed for bespoke tailors and Temple Street Night Market. Two (2) hours and 14 minutes travel time from Manila, Philippines.

VICTORIA PEAK HONGKONG
Hong Kong International Airport

Dubai is my first out of the country travel next is Singapore.  But it’s my first time in Hong Kong and Macao and first time too to travel with my hubby outside the country.  I booked Cebu Pacific my travel budget airfare. As I hint the keypad of my laptop i felt excited because the only cold weather I went so far is Baguio and Tagaytay, you know when your living in a Tropical Country like Philippines, you get excited going in a cold weather like Hong Kong in November.  So,   when my husband asked me if  I’d liked to travel in Malaysia I told him Hong Kong and Macao na lang and as it is last week of November it was already a cold month I grab the opportunity and booked a flight pronto so that he can't changed his mind. (Laughs)

But since its my first time in Hong Kong and Macao I got the land arrangement package tour of Golden Sky Travel and Tours www.goldenskytravelandtours.com for our Hotel, Transfer and Tours.  The tour went smoothly but  Do It Yourself is way better.  than the package tour.  Package Tour is convenient but It's limited places to visit and limited time, we need to follow Itinerary Scheduled.

Victoria Harbour

Our first stop of the Day.  Victoria Harbour is a natural landform harbour situated between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon in Hong Kong.  As the bus a line in Victoria Harbour our tour coordinator explained something about their country and we get excited to step down on the bus and explored the place.

VICTORIA HARBOUR

SILKA FAR EAST, HONG KONG

Our Hotel for the entire trip 3days 2nights Silka Far East, located in  Tsuen Wan Hong kong.  Our room is clean and everyday they changed the Towel.  Breakfast is buffet so we make it sure that we eat a lot before stepping out in our Hotel room.  Food in ok, good thing that our travel agency gives us a Hotel that serves breakfast save the hassle in lining up in food chain just to eat breakfast.

AVENUE OF THE STARS

AVENUE OF THE STARS

where the city pays homepage to some Hong Kong best know Film Stars, such as Martial Arts great star Bruce Lee.

The promenade also makes a great spot to watch Symphony of Lights across the harbour in the evening.

Be sure to find a perfect place where you can hear the music that accompanies the show.

Another place to see the Symphony of Lights is in Tsim Sha Tsui in Kowloon.

 VICTORIA PEAK

The best place to see the whole Hong Kong is in Victoria Peak, a mountain in the western half of Hong Kong Island.  It is also known as Mount Austin, and locally is THE PEAK.

Being 554 meters above sea level, THE PEAK is the highest point within Hong Kong and occupies the  western part of the Hong Kong Island.

A side trip to a Jewelry Shop in Hong Kong.  When you have a package tour you have no choice but to follow the itinerary schedule.

Aberdeen Harbour and Jumbo Kingdom
Aberdeen Harbour is home to hundreds of people living on fishing junks.  Here a huge contrast of modern and traditional setting take place.

RUINS OF ST. PAUL'S

The Ruins of St. Paul's are the ruins of a 17th-century complex in Santo Antonio Macau, China.  It includes what was originally St. Paul's College and the church of St. Paul also known as  " Mater Dei"  a 17th-century Portuguese church dedicated to Saint Paul the Apostle.  Today, the ruins are one of Macau's best known Landmarks and tourist destination.  They are often but incorrectly mentioned as a former Cathedral a status they never had.

Built from 1602 to 1640 by the Jesuits the church was one of the largest catholic churches in Asia at the time.

THE VENETIAN MACAO

Located at Estrada da Baia de Nossa Senhora da Esperanca Macau,  it's like you entered in a new world with luxurious shops and many other activities to do.  The Venetian Hotel is a mimic copy of some street in Venice although i was not even been there but thats according to some tourist.  The Grand Canals and pulling it off with gondola and the singing gondolier.   Macau is mostly casinos and a good experienced to have indeed.

........there's always first time and everything but i will make it sure that the 2nd time would be longer and we have time to explored Macau with its food, culture and history,  we need to get back at the pier to board the last ferry back to Hong Kong....
