SINGAPORE



Singapore, an island city state off Southern Malaysia, is a global financial center with a tropical climate and multicultural population.  Fifth (5th) place most expensive Asian Cities in Global Ranking in 2017.  But when your on tight budget and  want to roam around Singapore  go in places with no Entrance Fee like the Singapore famous MERLION is a well-known marketing icon of Singapore depicted as a mythical creature with a lion's head and the body of a fish located in EVENT PLAZA.

I booked my flight earlier in a budget airlines liked Cebu Pacific.  Now a days you can come and go to Singapore because all airlines are offering cheap flights when you booked your flight earlier.  But you must come prepared, booked your accommodation in advance either Hotel, Hostel or Back Packer Lodging you can use Agoda.com or rent a flat or a room in AirBnb.    How do I described Singapore, well Singapore is efficiently sophisticated, spotlessly clean,  modernized in terms of Transportation, Tourism and Businesses but Expensive.

We booked our accommodation in Bugis where you can walked near the Singapore Major Attractions liked Garden by the Bay, Malay Heritage Centre, Arab Street,  Malls surrounded by it and Bugis Junction where cheap buy are in every corner.

But first thing first is to purchased The EZ link Tourist Pass the most friendly way to get around Singapore. It's unlimited travel on Singapore basic bus services, MRT and LRT trains for the duration that its valid.  Then on the Airport of Singapore get a travel guide map for you to roam around Singapore tourist spot.

ON our First Day in Singapore we first check- in on our Hotel in Bugis and ate our late lunch in street corner of Bugis since we had an early flight from Manila with 3 hours and 45 mins flight duration.


Garden by the Bay

So that we can maximize our time in Singapore since we only have 3 days and 2 nights, we went on foot at the Garden by the Bay,  explored this beautiful man made creations garden that it's so huge, you need to sit and recharge your battery if you wanted to roam around this garden.   They say that on night time this place will come alive because all lights will be on and it will be picture perfect for you to see.  But in our case we came on Day light since our time is limited but next time we will make sure that we will visit this place on night time for us to experienced the beauty of it. 


Don't ever miss the chance to have your photo taken in front of Marina Bay Sands going to Garden bay the Bay....


  

And when the night time falls, discovered the magic of SPECTRA a free to public outdoor Light and Water Show displayed over the water of the Event Plaza along the promenade.  As the story unfolds before your eyes, you'll be immersed  in a beautiful symphony of music, water and light that powered by advanced lasers, fountain jets and visual projectors.


Whether it's your first time or it's your hundredth , the 15mins show will mesmerise you with its dancing water fountain, colourful visual arts, inspiring orchestral soundtrack and special lighting effects.     Sunday to Thursday 8pm and 9pm,  Friday and Saturday 8pm, 9pm, 10pm.




Second Day is Universal Studio Day, we spend the whole day playing kids at heart in this magical  place.  We have great time going after each fun activities inside the amusement park. And we got a discounted priced from Citibank upon purchasing of our tickets, cool!

Since Singapore is a tropical country and it's too hot, hotter than Manila weather.  So when  afternoon comes we decided to returned in our hotel and take a short nap. And when its Dinner time we strolled along the nearby mall in Bugis.


SUNTEC CITY
The Fountain of Wealth SUNTEC CITY is written by the Guinness of Records in 1998 as the largest fountain in the world.  They say who walk around the central base of the Fountain three times and touching the water at all times, would gain some good luck of their own.  Me and my husband tried it and we are just to happy to experienced it....


  
HELIX BRIDGE
 THE HELIX BRIDGE, is the previously known as the Double Helix Bridge is a pedestrian bridge linking Marina Centre with Marina South in the Marina Bay.

This are the food we've tried so far and its good. We didn't experienced eating in the hawkers stall maybe next visit in SG again......



Changi Airport is full bloomed with flowers everywhere....
